The Maori Womens Welfare League will host an Autumn barbecue at the home of Doris Cope, Mount Victoria after Easter. The proceeds of the barbecue will be donated to the Sydney Marae Appeal

• Cost: $30 per person
• No cost to young children
• Place: 27 Victoria Street, Mount Victoria (off Mount Piddington Road)
The barbecue will be held on the lower deck at the rear of the house which faces north. Follow the path from the front gate to the rear of the house

From Great Western Highway, Mount Victoria, after crossing railway bridge, turn left into Mount Piddington Road, and first on the left from Mount Piddington Road into Victoria Street. No 27 is the first house on the left with the picket fence. Train departs Central Station from the Country platfornm at 9.18am and arrives Mt Victoria 11.42am. Ring 4787 1001 or 0418 276305 and someone will collect you from Mount Victoria Railway Station. The barbecue will feature a selection of meats, salads, fruit and dessert
