te aute college attends sunday service


On sunday 3 october 2010 te wairua tapu had the pleasure of te aute college attend the service. and as a break to the traditional sunday service archdeacon kaio karipa invited the principal of the college piripi blake to address the fellowship followed by a waiata from the students. Archdeacon Kaio Karipa also noticed maori MP hon shane jones in attendance and asked if he would also like to address the fellowship. both priripi and shane gave very strong words of praise for te aute college and encouraged maori here to send their children to te aute to stregthen their maoritanga in preparation to succeed their own kaumatua in years to come.
unfortunately, due to the demands on the students, they were unable to perform for the fellowship. However, it was certainly a blessing to have them with us and see how proud and strong they stand representing a college that is renowned for producing exceptional leaders.
